and damn have we been having SOME kinda mardi gras! no sooner did we get back from the desert than it’s time for the King’s Ball and then the fundraiser and *then* the actual Mardi Gras parade on the boardwalk. oh yeah!

we’ve been participating in the venice beach mardi gras parade for a few years and it’s always a creative blast - this year’s theme was SPACE FUNK - so i was *surprised* that no one else was wearing green skin.

ooooowheeeee that was a helluva trip. drove through some incredible desert landscapes and had an awesome time rockin it up with our friends - here’s lots of pics kilsy curiel took and phil’s are starting with a trickle but should be more soon:

while we ramp up the new stuff (cd, website, video, woo!) in Venice, we’re getting ready for a road trip to tucson to see our dear friend michael p nordberg, who’s put together a NY-LA rock show with lots of old friends including KILSY and the Feral Hounds! Check out the Gigs notices (to the right or click on “gigs” in the menu up thar).
