After moving to Tucson a year ago, The Modeens sound has morphed to reflect their new desert surroundings. Finally able to play and record at home, Cristina Williams and Jamie Laboz have honed the rock n roll they love into a varied landscape of songs with themes ranging from desperately needed optimism to apocalyptic dreams to obssessions with aliens. With J Fen Ikner (Seashell Radio) on drums, they resurrected an old fire, captured it and are ready to pass it on to every hitchhiker on the road to sonic redemption.
